The first recorded wristwatch was made by Abraham Louis Breguet, they have been produced in 1810 - 1812. It was the women's watches – made by fitting a bracelet to pocket clock. Initially, these watches of the time were met critical by men and were called “women fashion inventions”. Due to the small size it was uncertain whether such devices can be accurate enough - these watches were often unique original works. In 1880 German naval authority placed an order in Switzerland to produce a series of watches, and since then industrial hand and the pocket watch era has started.
